This month, University Advancement featured stories of scholarships established in memory of loved ones. The Jennifer Ann McLamb Whitaker Graduate Scholarship in the Joint Master of Social Work Program, in UNCG’s School of Health and Human Sciences was created by Rita Robbins, to preserve her daughter’s signature legacy of “life, love and light.”
This scholarship created in memory of her daughter, Jennifer, was featured with the first student recipient – our all-star (now alum) student Sarah Hamrick. Read the story below!

The JMSW Conference scheduled for Friday, September 14th has been postponed in anticipation of severe weather conditions from Hurricane Florence.

The conference has been rescheduled for Friday, October 5th, 9am-4pm, in the Virginia Dare Room.
